DAY 1
Cr: *Some photos taken from friend's camera*
Taking JetStar for the first time! Still prefer Scoot for my budget flights.
Playing cards to pass time hehe
After getting our sim cards at the airport we took a taxi to our hotel. This time I'm staying at The 93 Hotel. We had 8 person so we should have 4 rooms in total but when we got to the receptionist, they actually told us there wasn't enough room for us when we already booked thru agoda ?! So the staff asked if whether we were okay with staying in this "Family Room" and it fits 6 people, so the other 2 person will get to stay in the normal kind of room hotel. We were brought to check out the family room first before deciding, the room looks more like a chalet than a hotel and they all look damn weird?! But in the end we still took it, to save the hassle of finding a new hotel and moving all our heavy luggage..(quite disappointed and angry).
Let's take a look at the rooms~
The "dining room". Probably the only good thing about this family room, as we can all have our takeaway supper together.
Room #1, the room is really small and there is a shower area at the right side (weird enough)
Room #2, an example of a shower area squeezed in the room from the first room.
Room #3, me and Dawn took this room as the other 2 rooms are for the love birds. Look at this weird design, a seating area (where the tv is at too, so means our sleeping area no tv to watch), a shower area (with an ugly door, no lock) and a freaking jacuzzi?!
Not forgetting my room aircon keep auto off and I have to get up in the middle of the night just to on it back cos its freaking stuffy!
(Hate the tiles)
You must be wondering or forgotten why have i not mentioned any toilet bowls..
Toilet #1
Because they are separated from the rooms!
Toilet #2
So overall, I really think its not worth for the money we paid even though we didn't had to top up.. Let's now take a look at the other room which feels more like a hotel room.
This look so much more comfier and their air con work perfectly!
Even their toilet look better than my room?!
I still don't get how would they not have enough rooms when we already booked thru agoda prior to our arrival. That's all about the rooms, let's move on!
Headed to Platinum Mall's food court to have our lunch. My fav Thai basil leaf with minced pork rice!
Was being introduced to this Black Canyon Coffee in platinum mall and it became my daily dose of drug (caffeine) in Bkk! Been there so many times also never try before HAHA
Walked a little at platinum mall before heading to Bic C supermarket.
This snack super nice! Wished I had bought more :(
Splurging so much on the first day just on snacks!! Well I'm not the only one, every one had a trolley of their own!
Mandatory lays shot!
After Big C, we ended the day with supper (for all the days actually)! Fav mango stall!!
This wasn't nice at all :(
DAY 2
Starting the day with my bloated face.
Jz using a camera lens cover because she didn't have sunglasses haha
On our way to Siam area for lunch
DAY 2
We had COCA steamboat and these was part of the promotion menu (couldn't remember the price) and shared among 3 person.
We walked around that area to walk our heavy lunch and dessert off, basically its just eating day for us! Headed to Yaowarat Chinatown for our dinner and as usuals T&K Seafood.
Headed to Talad Rot Fai Ratchada after our dinner
Have a great week ahead everyone!
